to (hopefully) avoid any more of these favorite song threads popping up, what's your favorite song by a liscensed (non in-house) artist? as far as i know, in-house = Kyle Ward, Pete Ellison, Lynn, & ZiGZaG.

me? i'd have to go with either Jason Creasey's Psalm Pilot, or Onyx's Stop! and Go.

EDIT: i was barely awake at the time =P

My favorite Nina song is Wanna Do (Hardhouse Mix).
My favorite Mind Reflection song is Da Roots (Folk Mix).
My favorite Machinae Supremacy song is Cryosleep.

Ni Ni and Lynn (Papaya from DDR) are most definately liscenses, not in-house. Hell, both have had songs in DDR as well so I'd think that would be obvious. Also do we know that Onyx is a liscense? I've yet to see any external info on Onyx, if someone wants to point me in that direction, please do. Otherwise it's highly likely that Onyx is in-house, I wouldn't be surprised if it was Kyle.

I would say Out of the Dark or Cryosleep.

i thought Lynn was considered in house, since she did songs specifically for itg (like her cover of spaceman)

Nina has a pretty voice, so I guess I'll pick anything she does.

I like Let My Love Go Blind musicwise, but it has a pretty lame stepchart.

Soapy Bubble is hot (yes, I even actually do like the stepchart), and so are both of the Chucho Merchan songs (Latin seems more attractive after playing it a lot in a Jazz band). There are many ITG licenses that I enjoy, but those three take the top spots for me. Too bad they don't see much action at my local arcade.

It's not a cover of Spaceman. She wrote the song! Bambee got to record it, but Linnea Handberg wrote it. I don't think it is proper to call it a cover when the writer sings it...

That being said, Lynn and Bambee are my favorite licenses.

Is Nina really a license, I would have assumed she was in house? Her songs have really grown on me...

And what about DJ Doo is that a license? And is it related to Doolittle?

I personally believe that Kyle Ward is actually a licensed artist because he has published two albums for sale to the public and his songs are available for download on itunes. In fact, the only artist that I think is really in-house is ZiGZaG.

She's definitely not inhouse. Take a look at her website (ninagoddess.com). It, from what I've seen, has no mention of In The Groove, and she has many songs that aren't on ITG.

On topic: My favorite licensed artists are Nina, Reflection Theory, and Digital Explosion. I love all of their songs, except Driving Force Classical.

Nina, the Goddess of Dance! biggrin.gif I love Wanna Do. Hard house is an awesome genre. <3

I also love Mind Reflection, Bambee, Lynn, and Machinae Supremacy. biggrin.gif Onyx rocks too, as I believe that is not in house.

so? he's part of the itg development team. why would he be paying himself to use his own music?

and @ nystargate: my bad, didn't know she originally wrote Spaceman, i heard it by Bambee on some random Dancemania cd a long time ago and just assumed.

machinae supremacy. hands down. dust devil is my 2nd fav, surprised no one's mentioned him.

edit: just found out for sure that Kyle, Andy and Pete are the only in-house artists. no one else.
