Share your ideas on what DDR licensed songs would look good in an ITG game. My examples include Cowgirl by Bambee and 1, 2, 3, 4, 007 by NiNi. If ITG would have mainstream radio hits, then I would like to see Sandstorm by Darude, Castles In the Sky by Ian Van Dahl, and Get Busy by Sean Paul as ITG songs. I bet that Sandstorm would make a decent 11.

If Sandstorm is ever in ITG I'll commit suicide.

1, 2, 3, 4, 007 was by Ni Ni?

I'd like to see Kakumei in ITG. ITG seems to attract classical music, and Kakumei could have fun, difficult steps.

sunshine and bumblebee are both licensed ddr songs in itg. i doubt any other songs will be, itg3 has some more mainstream songs also, i guess we'll have to wait and see about more ddr songs.

Kakumei is a Konami original, not liscense, so it isn't relevant to this thread, nor would it EVER be in ITG obviously

seriously though, ITG already has 2 liscensed songs that DDR has as well, why bother looking for more? new liscenses, plz.

It wouldn't bother me to see more licensed songs transferred from DDR to ITG. If Trance de Janeiro shows up as an ITG song with a difficulty of 10, then I would jump for joy.

Fix'd. Bumble Bee, Typical Tropical, Sunshine (Follow the Sun in DDR).

If Trance de Janeiro showed up in ITG at all, I would orgasm all over the ITG machine, then do it about 20 more times and then do it again because Trance de Janeiro is just that awesome.

Fix'd. The original version (Cardigans) of My Favourite Game was on DS Party Mix, if that counts (I don't think it does).

To answer the question: I don't know if I'd like to see ITG and DDR share any more songs, but I'm more interested in new songs by artists that had songs in DDR. X-Treme or Tess preferably. If another DDR song is to appear on ITG however, I hope it's Ghosts. The DDR chart was actually really good though, so it might be tough to top.

P.S. If My Fire was on ITG, do you think its Expert steps would be easier or harder than the S-Maniac chart on 4th Plus?

How about we just get picky to the point that ITG also licenced 2 other bands that Konami has used, as in Missing Heart and E-Rotic.
Then we'd also have to mention Bus Stop (Spacekats is just one member less), Rochelle, Papaya (Lynn), and Ni-Ni (she was already mentioned I think).

Im going to say that Bumble Bee/ Follow The Sun/ Typical Tropical were fair stabs at DDR, but who cares?

Furuhata's Theme would be pretty fun in ITG; I could see it having a pretty nice stepchart of about 10 feet. Of all DDR artists who have yet to show up in ITG, I'd think Tess would be most likely to end up with a song in the game. Smile.dk seems tempting, but it would obviously be too much of a DDR rip-off because of how famous Butterfly was in the game. I'd also like to see Boom Boom Dollar, but that's also sort of a DDR rip-off and I don't see any room for a good Expert stepchart at all.

Beyond everything said though, the big thing I need to say is...

Skulk for the win! It could have an incredible Expert stepchart, and it's too awesome a song to only have appeared in UM2.

YES! TESS!

I actually hated DDR EXTREME for a while because it didn't have Stay and Justify My Love. riiight.gif

Papaya = Lynn??? Wow, I never knew that the artist who produced Spaceman and No Princess also produced Pink Dinosaur.

By the way, I am making an ITG simfile for Trance de Janeiro (Instrumental Mix). It's a 10 on expert. I can upload the simfile with the expert steps tomorrow night, but if I'm lucky enough to find the right images to use as graphics in time to do the rest of the difficulties, then I will post the whole thing.

A- Transports from DDR to ITG are stupid. We've already had them once, so why would we want them to fill up space that could be songs we haven't heard before?

B- This would only give the ITG fanboys more reason to say that DDR sucks because ITG stole Konamis songs. It would also give DDR fanboys more reason to say ITG is just a rip off and it can't even find it's own music. Why can't we just all get along?

C- I'll edit this when I think of one.

Oh, and that's why ITG took Sunshine and gave it steps that aren't total crap?

Taken down the Trance de Janeiro simfile link since nobody seems interested in it.

As much as I know this is your opinion, and you are entitled to it, Kakumei is absolutely beautiful. Taking Frederic Chopin's Etude in C minor and keeping a consistant rhythm on it is genius (You'll understand what I mean by it not normally having a consistant rhythm if you've heard someone actually play it.)

That song is close to my heart. I learned it on piano after months of work (Not Kakumei really, Chopin's Etude....even though Kakumei is just a dance version of that.....whatever...) and play it all the time along with Franz Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No.2.............known to most Americans as "That one crazy fast song Bugs Bunny plays"

/sigh

Oh, and about Sandstorm would be suicide worthy, meh, I like it but it gets old. It would probably be an 11 if it somehow got in there, but in won't so who cares. I would rather see a song like Ready, Steady, Go! if we're talking about liscences from DDR to ITG.

And now for some cynical comments

-It's not like we need Paranoias...we have the Disconnecteds
-If you feel like listening to HVAM, look no farther than Monolith
-Ever wondered what a new Max would sound like? It would sound like Energizer
-Yes, we know Pandemonium is the cross between crack and Gamelon de Couple

I dunno if this counts, but Vanilla Ninja's Tough Enough was in Ultramix 2. I'm guessing it doesn't, but I didn't see anyone else mention it. *shrug* Not to mention the fact that the song appeared in ITG first... though only by a matter of months.

Why the hell would I want to replay songs that I already played in DDR? I'll take the new licenses, thanks.
