I can promise you people that I'm %100 done with the "Easiest/Hardest * Insert Rating Here *" threads, but now my idea is, imagine a certain song, which is extremely easy/hard for its difficulty rating, is upgraded/downgraded a level. Then, compare it to the rest of the songs from its new rating and see if it's actually easier/harder than some of the other songs from its new difficulty rating.

To start, here's an example that applies to me:

Go *60* Go rerated as an 11 footer:

Passingwise (easiest to hardest to me):

Charlene
Robotix
Utopia
Xuxa
Clockwork Genesis
Infection
Frozen Fire
Vertex^2
Mythology
Destiny
The Beginning
Go *60* Go
Monolith
Hardcore Symphony
Pandy Hard
!
July

Scoringwise:

Charlene
Xuxa
Infection
Utopia
Robotix
Mythology
Destiny
The Beginning
July
Vertex^2
Pandy Hard
Monolith
Hardcore Symphony
!
Clockwork Genesis
Go *60* Go
Frozen Fire

My decision: Go *60* Go probably would work as an 11, but its weird rhythms make it one of the hardest to score, while its consistency of turning and streams make it one of the harder ones to pass. Most likely, it could be an 11, but it would definitely be one of the hardest overall.

I have the simfile for the song, and not only does it merely has only a bit more than 500 steps, it also has lots of weird patterns, twisting, and jumps to make scoring an issue. Oh, and there's also bursts of 24th (and even 64th, during the slowdown) streams that require foot movement even faster than Determinator. Definitely not a song that's going to be FA'd any time soon.

Here's the simfile that I'm talking about:

I know that the song was annouced as an 11 footer on Expert somewhere. If these aren't the correct steps, then let me know. I got the simfile from a link from a Bemanistyle thread that discussed ITG 3 and ITG 2 CS.

mdawg's sim of it had the legit steps up to hard, then jjk's edit for the expert steps.

The STOP! & Go simfile I have has 9 foot Expert steps, not 11 feet, and I got it at the exact same place as the Frozen Fire stepfile.

in which case it looks like you've got the correct set for that, which lends credit to the FF sim. i'll check on it when i get home.
