Okay, these threads are seriously overflowing the forums, but I insist, it seems to be unclear what the hardest 10 footer in ITG is. ITG 2 brought in a whole ton of new 10's to accompany ITG 1's, and there seems to be no certain answer with so many 10's. For this thread, we'll be discussing both the hardest to pass and to score.

For me, I think Tension wins in both categories. It's extremely fast, and those out-of-hand jumps really seem to wear me out quickly. Lots of technicality makes it harder than quite a few 11's to tell you the truth.

Oh boy, another one...

ItG 1

2. "Tension" (the intro is hell, and the 16th bursts later don't help)
2. "Disconnected -Hyper-" (the beginning doesn't matter if you can't survive the hellish mini-run burstgasm)
3. "Bouff" (tiring beyond all measure, and rampant crossovers, especially the ending stream, don't help. Oh yeah, and the stepjumps at the end suck)
4. "Oasis" (technical, but becomes easy over time)
5. "Walking on Fire" (another tiring one, with some trippy rhythms)

EDIT: Oh yes, scoring and passing... "Oasis" is easy to pass and hard to score. "Walking on Fire" is harder to pass than to score. I think addressing the top 3 is gratuitous, but "Bouff" is certainly easier than the top 2 in both areas.

ItG 2 in my next post...

EDIT: Or here:

ItG 2 (not my forte, but here goes...)

1. "Soapy Bubble" ("Walking on Fire", except on more crack; it is tiring and twisty, which makes it really difficult to pass OR score)
2. "Know Your Enemy" ("The Beginning", with a bit less turning; it's rather difficult to score)
3. "Sunshine" (WTF?!)
4. "Sweet World" ("weird" often does constitute "hard"; the 64ths make it difficult to score, and the runs make it tough to pass)
5. "Visible Noise" (the steps seem random, making this a [difficult one] to score)

I really haven't the foggiest, since I have barely played ItG 2. Give me some slack!

1. Know Your Enemy (more tiring for me than any other ten)
2. Sweet World (wtf)
3. Hybrid ( doesn't seem to flow very well to me)
4. Sunshine (odd 1/16 rythms)

those steps are silly.

I think Know Your Enemy would have to be the most tiring.

If you have good foot speed Tension isnt that hard, I beat it my first try (which was without the bar), but I still say its the hardest 10.

I'd say Soapy Bubble because the nasty crossover sixteenths are just murder on the dance pad.

Yeah, defitnetly Soapy Bubble, that song just never stops.

But Tension is a close second, with Disconnected-Hyper in third

Except for that giant 4 measure break at 0:50, and the simple eighths that follow. All in all, that's about 10 seconds of down-time, buddy.
EDIT: And that 1.27 second stop at about 0:35.
EDIT: And that 1.27 second stop at about 0:77.
EDIT: Funny: that makes it about DDR length.

True. And besides, even with the long resting point in the steps, the tedious streams make up for it.

Between "Tension", "Disconnected -Hyper-", "Soapy Bubble" we have three different (sort of) areas of skill:
"Tension" - Speed jumps, and then stamina with some burst speed
"Disconnected -Hyper-" - Burst speed for a long period of time
"Soapy Bubble" - Complexity and stamina at slow speed

They could each be the hardest, depending on the player.

Here are some fun facts:
"Know Your Enemy" falls under the same category as "Soapy Bubble", and it seems to be a challenger for hardest.
Songs like "Oasis" and "Twilight" almost fall under a different category altogether, but could be grouped with "Soapy Bubble" as slow and complex. They aren't stamina-draining, though, which is why it is hard to consider them the hardest.

If I had my way, "Kagami" would rank up there, if only for its ability to slide my pads under tables.

I think we have established that "Tension", "Disconnected -Hyper Mix-", and "Soapy Bubble" rank up at the top 3, with maybe "Know Your Enemy" in 4th place. Is this to pass, score, or both? #Infinity wanted us to address both, even though he had a single song as hardest under both categories. If we can actually do this, this thread might at least be a respectable clone of the many other "Hardest Ten" threads.

1. Tension
2. Know Your Enemy
3. Disconnected Hyper
4. Bouff
5. Soapy Bubble
6. Visible Noise
7. Walking On Fire

those are what I'd consider the "hard 10's"

i find queen of light harder than this, so it's not on my list.

Know Your Enemy is pretty eligible for a promotion though.

So, I don't feel like making a list of all of the hardest, but Energizer is probably the easiest, if you have stamina.

Even with those horribly long streams that other 10's lack?
