|
|
What do you guys think? I just started playing doubles a week ago, and to be honest I really don't have time to play this game a lot now, and theres also a lot of doubles charts that I'm not good enough yet to do (obviously).... but I wanna know what some notable charts are in your guys opinions.... they could be any difficulty, as even if you mention something that's too hard for me at the moment, I'll know some good songs to start whoring or practicing. Easier songs can be fun as well if you think the chart is notable, and maybe there are some good "learning charts" as well... although I think I'm getting the hang of all the new crossovers and transitions by now. _________________

Just ITG1?
Hm... well, here's several charts I liked:
Bend Your Mind (expert) -- Difficult use of hands, but fun when learned.
Driving Force Classical (expert) -- Enjoyable stepchart, fairly easy.
Euphoria (expert) -- Relatively easy 10-block song.
Land of the Rising Run (expert) -- Good introductory expert chart.
Lemmings on the Run (expert) -- Provides the opportunity to fly back and forth across the pad.
Mellow (expert) -- Good introductory expert chart.
Mouth (expert) -- Good introductory expert chart.
Utopia (expert) -- Challenging 11 that's still relatively passable.
While Tha Rekkid Spinz (expert) -- Extremely high use of hands; I like it.
I suppose this might not be that helpful -- honestly, after I got into ITG doubles, I've liked most charts, contrary to the initial opinion I had formed about them. |

I like Utopia and Tribal Style, just because they are double 11's I can pass =)
Unfortunately, I find ITG2 doubles charts more creative, but I like the songs decently well. It's easier for me to tell the charts I don't like (Zodiac) because I generally like most doubles charts. Da Roots is another one that feels odd, though Do U Love Me feels good even though it does similar stuff. Oh whatever, I'm weird.
I do really like Utopia for some reason though. _________________

Yes, Don't Promise Me Happiness Ex. is my favorite so far. I've been pretty busy with work so I haven't played a lot, but when I do play I really whore this one out a bit. I love the twisting and clever crossovers, and It's nice to see 270's in a song with a reasonable bpm, thus they are very doable... (the only other 270's i can recall are in DFC single ex (166 bpm, no thanks), Bouff single ex (200 bpm, no thanks), and Soapy Bubble single ex. (140 bpm... IN A 16th CLUSTER... definately no thanks))... another think I like about this one is the hard 16th run to top it off for a sort of "grand finale"... i think more charts should do this. _________________
