I can pass Destiny consistantly, although sometimes i get down really low on life on the first run, but i can beat it pretty well. Do you think I could BS my way through Delirium? It is 9 BPM slower than Destiny.

Note-I play on my toes, and have pretty good stamina.

no.

why?

because destiny is a small bit faster, but as a tradeoff, the entire last....30 seconds(?) of the song isnt one long continuous run. so, even BS'ing, destiny to delirium is a bit too much.

Even though you can consistently pass Destiny, it doesn't mean you can easily BS your way through Delerium. As you stated in your post, your meter falls quickly at the first run in Destiny. That run only lasts for a short amount of time, as compared to delerium. Delerium has several short burst runs combined with step jumps and one long death run; which requires alot of stamina. IMO, the transition from Destiny to Delerium is to big for you. Take it one step at a time. You should try to pass Hardcore Symphony or Monolith consistently before moving up towards Delerium.

two different skill sets.

i'd suggest The Beginning and Monolith as good trainers for Delirium.

It depends how im feeling that affects how far it falls. Sometimes it only falls halfway. And I am pretty close to getting all the arrows, i just need to improve my foot feed, and as I stated earlier, Delirium is 9 BPM slower, and I have pretty good stamina, so I think i could pass it.

But then, thats just me. I still have yet to try the song.

Once you get used to fast streams, then Delirium should not be too hard. It's a bit slower, making it safer to handle the long streams. Practice Temple of Boom and you will see why.

No. I can passed Destiny and can combo the hard streams but fail Delirium once I hit the stream about half-way in the song. Just pratice and you will get it.

I mean you can do like the first like half of it then there is that bullshit ending death run. With alittle practice you could BS your way though the death run but yeah, its damn hard.

Ok, let me get this straight, so you think a 9 BPM difference is all it takes for you to pass it? Let's take a step backwards. Lets use a different example. Charlene is a plain and simple 11 (I think that most will agree) that has a BPM of 138. The Beginning is an average 11 that is 132 BPM. The BPM difference between these songs is only 6 BPM (not that big of a BPM difference, but it is big enough to feel the speed difference while playing). Charlene (being Destiny, the easier and faster of the two) has alot of triplets, 16th runs, several step jump patterns and a few breaks. The Beginning (being Delirium, the harder and slower of the two) has tons of short burst runs, a few breaks and one long run towards the end of the song, which has several crossover. First, look at the stepcharts at ITGFreak; or better yet, play Charlene and then The Beginning or vice versa. It is obvious that The Beginning (slower) drains alot more stamina than Charlene (faster). Just like Delerium (slower), it drains alot more stamina than Destiny (faster). Need I go on?

Im not trying to be mean or anything, but do what you wan't. By the way, tell me how it goes!

Well, if you can own songs like Robotix, Energizer Hard, and Destiny, then you have the footspeed and coordination for the streams, all you need is to practice keeping with a stream for 16 measures (which is not quite as easy as it sounds.) I almost always lose or add a beat when playing Delirium and end up destroying my score, though I do pass it. In my opinion, one of the best practices for Delirium's stream is Pandemonium Hard. It has candle streams at almost exactly the same speed (it's unnoticeably slower.) and they take up a decent portion of the song. It's a good practice for Delirium, so you should give that a whack.

The best thing to do is to just play delerium constantly until you get the hang of it. Seriously, no song will get you as prepared if you just play it. It worked for me. At first, i failed right at the beginning of the end run because I was so tired and my feet just stopped moving. Then I kept playing it over and over until I got used to the runs and then I became able to pass it consistantly. Dude, just play it. Who cares if you fail it. It workes much faster that way.
