Your First Freeze Roll Encounter

What song did you see your first freeze roll?
What did you do?
Did you say anything?
Did you pass that song?
and other info you can put in.

Mine was in Renissance Hard
I just tapped my feet like a run. (Isn't that what your supossed to do?)
I said "Oh poopy this is one of those freeze rolls"
I passed that song with 85.35%
I was very confused when I saw one because I played all the ITG2 songs on stepmania, and stepmania doesn't do freeze rolls.

The first freeze roll I encountered was from !. Expecting a freeze arrow during the pause instead, I simply held my feet in place in confusion. I didn't pass the roll (or the song fot that matter).

I believe it was July -euromix-.
I didn't know what it was, so I just treated it as a Hold (but I finished it, since it was a short Roll).
Didn't think much of it. I just decided to forget it. The next time I saw a roll (Renaissance, I believe), I missed it. After that, I figured out that I had to keep tapping it.
Obviously, I still passed the song. 9s are no problem.

The first roll I encountered was in July Euromix. When I saw it, I remembered some people talking about it on the forums and that in order to do it, you needed to keep tapping the arrows, so this is what I did and it worked.

Pretty simple story, but whatever !

My first time was playing July euromix in a tournament (it was my first time ever playing ITG). I have played the simfile before and I know all about rolls, so I did it properly. I only got 90.xx, but again, it was my first time playing ITG.

It was July Euromix and at first it looked like a regular freeze and then I missed and it was sort of easy to guess so I got em from then on.

First time playing ITG ever i believe it was July ~Euromix~ i was half asleep because I had been in a car for 5 hours driving there and then arrived after the arcade closed and had to wait 8 hours until they opened in the morning and refused to get a hotel room to sleep..
None of the local ITG players had showed up at the arcade yet so I didn't know anything about the rolls and when I saw it for the first time I though I was seeing things because I was so tired and when I didn't get it I yell out "WTF was that?!?" and hear a crowd of the local players laughing.

My first experience with frezze rolls came on Renaissance Hard, saw people do it earlier so it wasn't too hard for me.

I think that July ~euromix~ was the first song I played that featured rolls. I read about them through the forums, so when the rolls came up, I knew exactly what to do. Piece of cake if you ask me.

Robotix hard for me... I picked it specifically because I had heard somewhere that it had one of these rolls in it and I wanted to try it out. Of course, I hadn't read up on how fast you have to hit it... I figured it was BPM-dependent, and just about died trying to drill those arrows as fast as possible during the speedup...

I played July -Euromix- and Renaissance because I knew that those songs had rolls in them. Thus, I went to play them and had a blast doing it and experiencing it for the first time.

Also, it's not a freeze roll, it's just called a roll.

I was playing ITG2 for the first time in a tournament when it first came out, and I saw two other people playing Robotix in the Intermediate division. At first I was like "What the hell are they doing?" Then I saw that the shape of the hold was different and someone explained to me what it meant.

My first semifatal encounter was when playing robotix hard. It got to the speed up part, and out of nowhere those god awful mutated DDR freezes show up. I actually yelled out H4X and the people in the arcade look, and gaulk at "that large kid playing that homosexual game" good times.
