(Not double)
Who can pass this without the bar? Better yet, anyone skilled enough to get up to 96%+ in it, proving they are demonically possessed?
Pics and vids if there are any, I'd like to see it. |

There's a video of Pickles passing it no bar with roughly 75% I think. Find it on media.rhythmatic.net in the ITG section. You can forget about starring. |

Lil Q has 89.22 with no bar. On GrooveStats, that's the highest no-bar score. _________________

Compared to his DDR skill, Pickles is pretty bad at ITG. I think it was Pickles (but it might be some other no-bar DDR player) who uses the bar anyway on ITG. 90% no-bar is fucking insane. Maybe he could get low 80s. Maybe. _________________

It's Pickles, but from what I understand his use of bar--or more precisely, his personally counting scores where he uses the bar--is fairly new. That, and "No-bar DDR player who uses the bar for ITG" is vague enough that it probably doesn't describe ONLY Pickles, but that's really another story. _________________

Not exactly, there's no one part in Pandemonium that is just plain evil like there is in songs like Determinator and Vertex2. The reason Pandy no-bar is hard is not because of footspeed or footwork, but because off it being absolutely relentless all around. (In other words, stamina) _________________

Yeah, as an experiment, I slowed down Pandemonium's step rate to a .6x to really see what the steps were, and it is really just A LOT of 1/8th notes at a really fast speed.
That being the nice way of putting it...I need to see this video. Give me a minute or five... |

I was cracking up at that middle part after the pause in the song...
I want to put a, "THE FOLLOWING VIDEO HAS NOT BEEN SPED UP OR MODIFIED IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM" in front of that whole video. |

high 80's. He has the stamina and precision of all the best players.... maybe even more so. he just doesn't play as competitively or seriously as people like LilQ does, that's why he barely has any scores on groovestats. He'll use the bar for the hardest songs, and when you hold the world record on Euphoria ex., one of the absolute hardest songs in the game by over 1 full percent (98.39, above 97.28), you're still one of the best out there. And since the best you can do at DDR (AAA 10's) is nowhere near the best you can do in ITG (**** 13's), I think comparing how good he is at ITG to DDR isn't very informative, especially when he has many scores to be put up, and that he seems to be focusing more on ****'ing hard and lower expert songs than the hardest songs. So I wouldn't jump to conclusions that he's "bad" at ITG compared to DDR just yet simply because of his lack of a real score record. His Euphoria score and his constantly growing list of ****'s proves otherwise, and thats just the beginning. I'm gonna say right now, if you can get a score like that on Euphoria, If you wanna play seriously the rest of your scores WILL be ranked in the highest. _________________

Just to make things clear, Pickles does play with the bar and mods for 12's and up now for tournament purposes, but he still plays all hard songs x1 no bar.
Ironically, he is about the same as LilQ barless (even though pickles always plays x1 mixed with no bar), and he is better than him with the bar. He's just doing what he did on NNR and not inputting his scores till he quadstars everything |

i thought it was for 10s and up, not 12s, how would you explain his 99.91 on xuxa, 2.5x bar? _________________

Well, all I know is that when Pickles came over to Toronto for the WTFHAX tournament. He put up some scores on our machine and all of them would put him in the top five to ten in groovestats.
And TehWhack is right, Pickles just doesn't put up any scores unless it's a quad star or is first place in groovestats. Even if it's just off by one excellent. |

Do you mean that he is better then Mike (no bar) with the bar, or better then he if both use the bar? The former is likely, the latter sounds very improbable.
Asymp: Pickles was in the top five in the world (in match tournament rules) for DDR. He is not for ITG.

When Mike entered the (then) largest tournament in the country here in SoCal, he went 14-0 against some of the best players in the world, set eight world records, and had the highest efficiency of any player in history. _________________

Pickles has recently been playing alot more ITG now that we actually have a few machines in the city. I'm pretty confident that he could get 90%+ on pandy no bar, just because of the scores ive been seeing him throw out lately. When he does use bar so he can compete in tournements, he is up there with the top 5 in the world for sure. If you don't believe me just check his groovestats, he only tends to post quad stars and his very best accomplishments. I'd say his 3 exc on xuxa is just beyond scary. |

I agree. It's kind of hard to tell exactly how good he is since he hasn't submitted a lot of Expert scores on Groovestats, but the scores he has submitted are pretty good. His FA is amazing - he has an insane number of Hard quad stars.

What really amazes me about that score is that he did it with a relatively low speed mod (x2). _________________
