two dumb noob questions please answer

ok sorry im dumb. But on itg where is the title menu that you enter the code to unlock every song?Because i dont know where the title menu is or what it looks like. Okay now for the other dumb question. What exactly does playing flat footed is it when you step on the arrows with flat feet. Because if thats what it is why would that hurt and why would playing like that conserve energy or help you at all? thank you!

1. You don't need to say you're dumb.

2. You type the code when you pick your mode. (Dance, Survival, whatever)

3. Yes, flatfooting is playing with your feet flat.

4. No, it doesn't hurt, or at least it shouldn't

5. It conserves energy because you're not supporting your weight on your calves

6. Run on sentences, mispunctuation, and starting sentences with because gets confusing. I had to read this at least twice.

Well are you supposed to hold some button to keep it from moving when you input the code. The code doesnt seem to work or do anything.

When you do it at the main menu, if you get it right, sparkles show up, but no sound plays. Keep doing it until you see those. Make sure also that you aren't keeping your feet on the arrows. I'd stand on one of the back corners and hit it one arrow at a time.
