Call it DDR! Call it ITG! Either way, it still taste like chicken.
Konami created it (DDR), RoXoR perfected it (ITG), and we should all respect them equally. |

Oh, don't get all over his case. I believe he's discovered an arcade machine using Stepmania under the Groove 2.2 ITG 2 theme. It sounds nice to play Stepmania in the arcades, so I can see why he's excited about it. Even if he's not the best speller in the world, at least he's discovered something he likes. _________________

4. Congratulations on finding a hacked machine. You dropped to the level of participating in, and supporting, illegal activity on a game that deserves our honest respect. I hope you decompose in your carpet.

Hacked machines are illegal, which is what the guy above me is trying to say. He didnt spit it out the right way, though. |

Actually, it's completely legal given you have permission from the owner of the machine. And it loses warranty. Reguardless, it's legal. That would be like saying overclocking a cpu is illegal. _________________

DDR doesn't use StepMania, and there's no way you install SM to the System573 or expect to be able to easily change or add stepfiles.
StepMania cabs involve replacing the System573 with a JAMMA-equipped PC, pretty much the same thing that ITG does. By that point, it's about as much of a DDR cabinet as an ITG upgradicab is -- not much of one. |

according to roxor, its illegal to hack my own machine. Figures, people on message boards are usually smarter than representatives from roxor. _________________
