Whether it was from a single song or a marathon course, what was the modifier or combination of modifiers that gave you the most trouble in ITG?

For me, it's

-x3, Float, 50% Drift in Disconnected ~Hyper Mix~ in the Energy course.

1x Space Boomerang Tornado - very pretty, but not readable at all (try it on Euphoria)

Marathon Course:
Center-Alternate on Automation
Alternate, .75x on CaddyWhompus
Negative Mini (read: Large), Float on that course that begins with D-Code
Increasing Hidden/Sudden on Driven (which, incidentally, is my favorite Marathon course).

Individual mods:
Flip
Float
Invisible (of course)
Blender on any song with 16th+ steps

If you have a mirror next to a TV, try looking at a mirror while playing flip. it'll be just like the LDUR format. That's what I did on Xuxa Medium Flip on KeeL Over.

That is a surprisingly creative solution, and kind of comvoluted, but hey, whatever goes.

Heheh... no. Robotix Easy with Simple, Echo, No Jumps, and No Freeze (I THINK that's the right set... confirmation?). Enjoy.

Flip is the most difficult modifier because the arrow displacement is too confusing.

close, but you forgot Stream =P

and Flip is easy once you get used to it. like all else, it just takes practice.

For me, probably Flip.

1X Float also brings the pain for me.

Sorry to burst your wit-bubble, but 1x isn't a modifier.

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

It's not a mod even though ITG2 uses 1.5x by default. It is troublesome to play with 1x or 1.5x on most songs on Expert, but that's why defaulted solo arrows are there.

it's equally as bad really because they are both impossible with those. you'd have to have every step memorized.
