Well guys, I've noticed a mass increase of "Hardest 11" "Easiest 13" And such, So I decided to make it easier for everyone and make it one big thread. I've compiled a list of what seem to be the easiest to hardest (9 - 13 block) expert (And a few hard) songs. Also, No 9s and 10s yet, that will take a while (Theres so many!)

Feel free to comment, and correct any mistakes. Also I left out Mythology and Vertex2 because i have absolutely no idea where to put them.

It's nearly impossible to accurately rank each song of a given difficulty amongst themselves, simply because different people are good at different things. My Bloodrush score is better than my Energizer score. My HOTN score is better than my Tell score. My Destiny score is better than my Charlene score. Are Bloodrush, HOTN, and Destiny easier than Energizer, Tell, and Charlene? Hell no. I'm just good at some things and bad at others, so they seem easier or harder to me from my perspective.
The bottom line is that a song is an 11 because Roxor puts an 11 a few lines down from the song title in its file. We can all bitch and moan and argue about which is easier or harder, but it doesn't change the fact that it's still an 11.

I don't know about you, but when ever I see people asking for the "easiest" or "hardest" song of a given difficulty level, nine times out of ten they're asking about how hard the songs are in terms of passing them for the first time. To that end, the 11 and 12 lists appear fairly accurate. (As for the 13s, I wouldn't know; I've never passed a 13 and doubt I ever will.)

I agree with the "different people are good at different things" comment. I mean, if I were to rank the 11s, 12s, and 13s, it would look entirely different.

And even then, I would rank each list differently depending on how I was feeling that day. Opinions change, especially as you play each song more frequently. That's why the threads are generally limited to "Easiest/Hardest", because these are often clearer and more consistently agreed upon. |

Why did you rank Vertex2 (Hard) so high? Did you have problems reading it at first? I didn't find the chart that hard to pass but to each his own /shrug

He was talking about scoring, not passing.

Based on his opinions, it seemed obvious that he was going over scoring, considering Utopia's full of offbeat steps. How it can be harder to pass than Mythology is simply beyond me. I must admit, the list overall certainly looked like it would fit better with scoring over passing.

I think monolith is easier than destiny.

That's the point of this thread - to limit the number of these threads into one. You're correct that there's been way too much talk about which songs are hardest and which ones are easiest, but that doesn't mean they're pointless. It's just that there's been too much lately.

People aren't using the thread like I suggested, that's why.
By the way, if you feel like you're getting flamed based on your opinion for difficulties, so am I. Seriously, you're not alone. Remember the big argument about Fascination MaxX's ITG difficulty?
