Does anyone know of a good ddr metal pad for the PC that is under $300 and has a trick bar? I checked out GameAsylum.com, but their 'no returns, no exceptions' kind of has me scared. What if it's sent and gets damaged before it arrives on my doorstep? I don't want to waste $259 plus shipping for something broken.

If anyone has any GOOD reviews of GOOD and new pads, please let me know.

Danke.

Red octane afterburners are $200 around here.I guess you could get a USB cord at your local best buy. That works.

The Afterburner already has a PC USB plug-in installed directly. E13.gif

Um, is it just me or is that bar on the wrong side?

X is supposed to be top left, O is supposed to be top right ... and the arrows are facing the wrong way for that bar to be in the back of it? wth is it in the front?

I just want a good usb pad with a bar under $300.
I don't want to have to buy a usb adapater. Too much hassle.

The TX6000 is good. The bar does not break after a few days, as some have said, unless you tighten the screws too much. I've been using the bar lots for the last month and it's showing no sign of breaking. One problem with the TX6000, though, is that playing in shoes is not ideal. For some reason, it barely picks up your steps when you have shoes on. It's not a problem for me though because I don't play in shoes at all.

That would be a problem with me, because I like to practice the same way I play. I don't want to practice at home with no shoes on and then goto the arcade and play with them on.

Not very good for conditioning.
Has anyone tried the ones from GameAsylum.com?

I got a hard pad with bar at Shop4Tech for $210. Be warned though, the bar isn't firmly in there even when you screw it in; it'll wobble a bit.
