Left: Index (I put lefty to work switching betwix UP and Left quickly)
Right: Index+Middle
The Middle finger helps sooo much with high speed crossovers

The buttons I use to play Stepmania are the number keys on the right of the keyboard (since that side where the NumLock is kinda looks like a DDR pad, lol). So in other words I use both my index and middle fingers to play.

I do the same as Utopia. I play with my index and middle fingers on both hands on the 4 Number Pad arrow keys.

Left middle finger on ;
Left index finger on '
Right index finger on 4 on the number pad
Right middle finger on 5 on the number pad

It's just a basic spread that I moved over a bit.

Started on traditional index style, then discovered how hard some songs were without knowing spread, so I can do that semi-well. I can do 4-finger arrow keys, but prefer spread over that. And one-handed arrow keys is just over my head and I don't really care to learn it.

yea...i just use index for most songs cuz i get better PA with it, but i can do spread(QWOP) for really fast stuff like Tougen or the ending of OML...btw, how do people do OML index only?!?!?

One-hand, arrow keys. 3 fingers. I could probably do better if I bothered to learn spread, but I'm not horrible as it is now and I hate relearning things
