Hi there!

I am a big ddr fan (9 footer so not that great) and am looking to further my interest and others interest in the game.

I am a student in new york city looking for those who live in or will be visiting new york in the near future (hence why I didn't just post this in the new york section [please dont be mad, i did read the rules!]). I am filming a documentary for film class and would appreciate players of any skill to come and interview/play with me for the documentary. The documentary is meant to uncover the sort of "underground" cultural aspects of ddr, health aspects, and aspects of the video game industry. I hope this interests some of you, hopefully it will.

Please contact me via Email (AshGavs@gmail.com)
or aim (AshGavs) and if you "fit" (though im sure most people will be fine for the video) we can schedule an arcade to meet at.

Those who are in the video will get acting credit, and those of you who want your faces or voices censored this can be done as well.

I am very flexible and very excited for your responses. Hopefully this documentary will make a big splash in the ddr world!!

I'm doing a similar project in my High School for something called WISE. It's a program where you go out and do research on something that interests you so you can learn something, anything really. So I decided to do the "underground" gaming culture and the video game industries as well! I am also focusing on DDR and the like but I'm not filming it, at least I don't think. Perhaps you could help me by giving me ideas on how to go about with this project. I'll help you to if I can/you need it. I live in NY about an hour or so away from the city, just so you know. Please respond! I would love your input!

DDR is dying in NYC rapidly from what I've noticed. There are still a few groups of people that play, and there are also others who play ITG2 (in Chinatown).

Though, there's no way that you will find someone that knows the "underground" DDR culture with someone just visiting. So you are much better off posting this in the New York forum.
