Explain to me how this distributor contract works, when konami doesnt sell to distributors at all.

Its not legal, konami wont licence these things to legally be in america.

E-amusement only works in Asia anyway, but you're right. Konami wouldn't knowingly let a IIDX machine out of Japan, IF they thought they could be prosecuted by the licensed artists doing the music, which is a distinct possibility.

IIDX Happy Sky is awesome though.

wow, that's a good looking machine, but will I ever get to play it on PS2? I have been playing IIDX for about 4 months.... all at home, never once played an arcade machine.
