OK. So Ive been playing DDR 4 like 3 years. But for the first 2 years i pretty much never played, I really got into it about a year ago. Ive passed all the 11s on ITG on ps2 except 4 pandemonium.

But recently Ive felt like I suck cause alot of u can pass all the songs... including the 13 steppers. And to make it worse I started to play DDR again instead of ITG and at first I was better at DDR. But a few days ago I just got DDR EXTREME and I finally unlocked The Legend of Max and couldnt pass it! But I was ALMOST AAing max 300 before!

One of my main goals is to pass Hardcore of the North ex., but HOW!
I want to get better.

But I think my problem is a lack of endurence because I get too tired to finish alot of really hard songs.

So help me to find some endurance exercises that I can do and tell me if u think i suck or what i should do to get better!!!! blink.gif

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES!!!!!! ITS A MIRACLE!!! I Finally passed Hardcore of the North ex. with a 69.01ish! Thats the 1st 12 footer ive ever passed

Play the hard stuff more often.

Learn to conserve your energy better or to step a little bit lower.

Use the bar if you want to.

Most importantly have fun. You shouldn't give a damn if people can pass more stuff.

What about me? How much do I suck? I only drive a BMW 5-series, when I see people in Porsche 949s and Bentleys! My house is only 4500 square feet, when my friends have 9000 square feet mansions! I only have one butler, most people have two!

Ummm, no, you don't suck. Relax.

No, you don't suck. For endurance, run. Do wind sprints. Do this drill called 'The Bomb.'
Go to a soccer field and set up cones along each side--2 on the short ones, 3 on the long ones. Start at a corner, sprint to the first cone, then jog all the way around the field to your starting corner. Sprint to the second cone, jog all the way back around. Sprint to the next corner, jog all the way back around.

You should finish by sprinting all the way around the field.

To get better at ITG, practice. Keep playing. That's what I do. (I just need to make the shift to a better style of PA now, so I'm no longer on my toes...my shin splints are acting up again)

I think that since ITG is new, you haven't gotten used to it or anything. Just take the time to whore out a couple of songs/the game and you'll get better.

It's called practice.

Exclamation points aren't question marks, by the way.

Thats another thing. people say to dance flat footed. I think thats stupid...probably cause its really hard for me to not dance on my toes. Whenever I try that it feels terrible and I just get much worst scores. What the heck peoples.gif

In the future, remember you can use the quote tags multiple times in a post. If you can't make the construction yourself, copy and paste them from multiple instances of what is given when you click "quote" next to a post. I don't mean to be the Forum Nazi with regard to this--I'm hardly in any position to do so--but just thought I'd give you a heads-up. E1.gif

You certainly don't suck--I can't pass any 11s and have horrible FA. Just have fun and you'll improve with time if you practice regularly. (I've been stuck at my level for a long time because I can't really practice regularly. Ultimately, my enjoyment is more limited.)
