I noticed that DDRFreak is run on phpBB2. I'm part of another board that also uses phpBB, and they've been looking for some good mods (or hacks, whichever term you prefer) to use. They installed a couple a week ago, but it messes everything up. I really like the options that the mods DDRFreak uses sompared to the standard phpBB coding, and was wondering which ones you use (or where we could get some others).

For the most part, we have people on staff that add on/create/modify codes for almost all of the mods for phpBB. I know that phpBB has a mods page where they post mods that they have created as well as mods that other people have submitted to them.

While I can't speak for any mod that was installed without my knowledge before I got here, I think the only off-the-shelf mod we've installed is one that does MX-record validation of new account registrations - just to make sure that the e-mail address (in theory) exists before someone signs up. Everything else we've written ourselves. Some of them we probably could have contributed back to phpBB, but I don't have time to sift out the changes into a mod-friendly format.
