Why would you be freestyling on a difficult song? None of DDR's hardest have much potential for a routine, either. Also, calling them keyboard charts is unreasonable. Every ITG1 song has been at least starred already (except maybe Euphoria), so clearly everything is doable on pad. In addition to that, many of the 11s and above are a lot of fun. Xuxa, HoTN, Tell, !, Monolith, Summer, etc. are all a blast to play on foot, because step artists DO take into account the players and their playstyles when writing the steps. All of the ITG1 12s test a different skill (not a finger dancing skill, most of them don't present any challenge on keyboard), so to call every one of them a mindless stream of 16th is outrageous. |

Tell that to my friend Matt, who plays things like Delirium for fun. The Easy charts are way below my skill range, but that doesn't mean I call them boring and simplistic. Dance game players come in all skill levels, and you need to accept that there are a number of people for whom PSMO, LoM and the like are the only songs worth paying money to play. ITG provides something for all skill levels, and that's how the difficult charts are fun. |

In your opinion. I agree with you, I only play DDR for fun, the nearest I come to PAing is simply trying to pass and not fail certain songs. That doesn't mean everyone's the same, and like other recreational activities, ITG is something some people do for the challenge because they find the challenge itself fun. |
