How exactly is it a slap in the face? In the eyes of many, and as far as the courts are concerned, as of right now RoXoR's not doing anything wrong in distributing BoXoR upgrade kits. Arcade kits that go inside cabinets to change the game inside are nothing new, in fact they're the entire reason the JAMMA system (which Konami cabinets use) was invented.
I don't want to kick off the billion page debate we exhausted a month ago, but the fact is that as of right now it has not been deemed that RoXoR are doing anything wrong in selling the kits. I think it's silly that some people see Konami stomp their mighty foot and expect Stepmania, SM cab owners, DDRUK and In The Groove (and in the past Pump It Up) to go running scared. |
