MV's: Thomas Howard, Scotty D., and JP Miles. Tomosuke, Des-Row, and Mr. Brian aren't bad either, if you like that sorta thing. (I do.)

FV's: Sana, Asuka M., & Kunitake. Don't forget Jazmine, either (awesome FCD cover... gotta love it!). biggrin.gif

Worst: Yeah, while it's fresh, it sounds good, but PT can grate nerves after repeating enough.

The more and more Bemani music I listen to it becomes clear that the most talented singer in Bemani has to be Sana. Every single I listen to by her, even if I find it extremely boring, I can't help but to find her voice incredible. Lots of the other girls in Bemani seem to possess some sense of time and can screech really loud (See Tomomi and BeForU in a lot of their songs), but Sana rarely if ever resorts to that and actually sings. The fact that shes got 3 albums of just her should say something also.

The worst voice in Bemani that I can think of off the top of my head has to be Paula Terry. Repetitive and cant sing. End of story.

I <3 You.

Sana has the hawttest voice EVER, even moreso than Hamazaki, Hayashibara, Hana Hana, AND BoA.

But I still liked Duran Duran. No one could deny the 80's goodness.

Quoted for emphasis and because this thread was REALLY, REALLY old before it got bumpz0red.

My favorite 2 singers would have to be Lala Moore and Asuka M/ASKA. I love the hell out of "Secret Tale." Whoever sings in the Orange Lounge songs with vocals is pretty good too. And also Mickin Tackin or whatever the heck her name is, has a pretty... original voice.

THE MOST OBVIOUS CHOICE FOR WORST SINGER:

Mr. BRIAN from Mr. BRIAN & THE FINAL BAND. Oh, lord save us.

Have you people heard HIGHER by Slake? That song has the worst vocals ever.

But the vocalist came back in full force with Let me Believe, which is simply awesome.

Furthermore, DO NOT LISTEN TO INNOVATION AND VOIDDD ON THE DES ROW OST.

Paula Terry is a good singer.

Miyuki Kunitake is a poor/generic/grating singer and all her songs sound the same, save the wonderful namida no regret.

Maki is frick beautiful, just listen to the full version of LESS.

Thomas Howard is really a mixed bag, but more good than bad he does sing.

frick STEPHEN MCKNIGHT FOR PRESIDENT. HEAVEN INSIDE AND TIGER TOO ARE THE BEST.

Lala Moore is the most talented female vocalist.

Asaki is the most talented male vocalist. Just listen to the kinds of notes he can hit. For a GUY, that's amazing.

THE ROMANCE/BEAMS singer is also good.

FLY HIGH from Drummania is the most underrated bemani song ever.

Having started playing music games with PIU, the first time I played DDR I was annoyed by the announcer.... in fact I always thought to myself... why did they choose to put in a voice DURING the music... I selected the song to listen to the song, not some guy saying "Your doing way.... Groovy!" and "Awesome"... or whatever the whiny voice would say before I had the arcade guys shut him off... lol... we don't have any Bemani arcade games here anymore so I haven't had the honor of hearing anything worst than the DDR Extreme guy (I turn off the voices on the home versions)

A hearty AGREED. Watching kid after kid after kid do that song... makes me want to gouge my ears with a rusty corkscrew.

YES! I am glad someone else noticed this. Riyu Kosaka and the Full Version of Break Down. At the end, she hits a note that fried my speakers and made my ears ring.
