Well, I'm looking for a new keyboard very soon, and I was wondering what keyboards you know that you can press all 4 arrow keys at the same time, because with alot of keyboards you cant. Also, what keyboards just are the best for Stepmania. Like which ones you can press down faster and easier and what-not. Thanks _________________

Umm im kinda confused...Do u play with 1 hand or 2? If its 2 how come u cant press all 4 at the same time? U can press all 4, however i know DWI doesnt allow more than 2 at a time to react, and i think for SM it doesnt allow more than 3. Any keyboard would probably be good. Just get one that feels comfortable in ur hands. I recommend going to a frys where they usually have each one on display so u can test it out on ur hands. I think best buy may have a few displays of keyboards also. _________________

the problem isn't technique. I play one handed and can easily press all four at once. and it isn't a problem with the software. there is a problem with the circutry in the keyboard. for instance, I can press left+right+down at the same time on my keyboard without any sort of problem, but if I press left+right+up at the same time, it doesn't register regardless of what program you are using. usually your computer will beep. really annoying when I'm playing a IIDX sim, but that's neither here nor there.
as for the question, I have no clue what kind of keyboard will be able to work like that...any suggestions keyboard players? (I=pad play...) |

I have a Microsoft MultiMedia Keyboard that I got a few days ago. It will register all four arrows at once. |

yes, it is. granted, some keyboards won't accept multiple keypresses. however, even if you have one that does, DWI isn't programmed properly to consistently accept multiple keypresses. SM doesn't seem to have that problem. _________________

Oh also, if anyone knows any keyboards that pick keypresses up very quickly, that would help too. _________________
