ok ill tell you guys the long story...

OK i used to live in virginia. Now california. My parents said we ae getting a pool and a half pipe. Turns out you cant have a half pipe any higher than 6 feet where i live frown.gif So i started saying they would have 2 dig into the ground than build a 8-9 foot half pipe. So my parents said screw it and just get a bemani machine.

So here i am...so gf or dm?

POOR YOU devil.gif *jealousy*
Just ... which do you like better? If you like them equally, and they're both about the same price, then GF because it's 2 players. But choose the one you like most or the cheapest.

DM, no contest. Sure GF is two players which is really fun, but you're not really playing guitar. DM you actually learn how to play an instrument! People ask me all the time if I'm a drummer now that I've been playing DM for a while. GF you press three buttons.... and a lever for the strings.

Don't get me wrong, I like GF a lot, but if I had to choose, that would be my decision. I'm sticking to Meow's and my posts about getting a dtxpress iii electronic drum set and playing it on your computer. The only thing different is there's no animations. And sometimes you can find those too. DTXpress III MSRP -- $999.95 Much less than the $10k DM machine and you get all the mixes plus user created songs!

That is the reason for getting the whole computer setup. It has its advantages. I don't know about you, but NOTHING beats the arcade experience for me. I think the machine would be worth it.
