I saw that at Wal-Mart last night! I picked up the box... stared at it for about 5 minutes... laughed... and then went to check if there were any new Star Wars figs.

According to the box, you can somehow use your own music with it. I didn't bother opening it up to see just how they accomplish that. My guess is that it must do some kind of very basic beat matching and then just makes up the steps at random.

I was babysitting about a year ago. The girls I was watching over pulled this damned thing out. I winced, but was glad to be playing a familiar game.

One player stands on each side, and some lights blink in the middle that tell you where to step. I can't remember if there was music, but I'm sure if there was, it was crappy.

So we played.

And she won.

Oh my god... my cousin has that! It's GODAWFUL. The stars light up and you have about .2 seconds to hit them. It's annoying. and the songs are horrible. His had only one pad and 8 arrows.

oh, and for your own music thing, you just turn off the msuic on the game, push the music and diffucult levels to create a step patters(there's only 9) And play your own CD. How lame is that?
