As it says in the article...
4 million in Japan - Note - According to old sales figures, over 25% of this figure is the *original* DDR release. DDR Extreme hasn't even broken 100K.
1.5 million in Europe
1 million in the US
Secondly, there are six US versions now:
Dance Dance Revolution (PSX)
Dance Dance Revolution Disney Mix (PSX)
Dance Dance Revolution Konamix (PSX)
DDRMAX: Dance Dance Revolution (PS2)
DDRMAX2: Dance Dance Revolution (PS2)
Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix (Xbox) _________________

Wrong.
All machine's in the US are illegal except for USA/US1 Mix.
Solo 2000, 3rd, 3rd Kv1/2, 2nd, etc. etc. are all illegal in the US. |
DJP said that Japanese machines were licensed for use in america up to 4th Plus I believe. _________________

Wrong.
None of the machines are illegal to own here in North America. It IS illegal, however, to charge money and make money off of them. So most arcades get aroundt his by charging "tokens" to play them, which is essentially not money. _________________
