Err, no offense or anything, but they're right when it comes to this not being related to DDR at all. The only thing this has in common with DDR is that they're both music games. You use a drum, not your feet. You control some of the sounds in the music, not dance to them.

actually, he told them it was a Bemani-game ripoff, not a DDR ripoff, but since they don't like DDR, they obviously don't know anything about Bemani, and just said it was DDR, instead.

Yeah, I must agree. This game is actually really cool. Kudos to Nintendo for a nice first effort in the rhythm game genre.

You mean Namco, meaning they took Taiko no Tatsujin and added in the "pan-pan!" thing to it? Yeah... I really, really, really want this game frown.gif

Nobody should really complain. The more music genre games the better.

How could this game not rock!?
Monkey Rap, Kirby Theme, Mario Theme, La Bamba, Mambo No. 5, COLORS! (guessing that it's the Bemani Colors), and DONKEY FREAKING
KONG! But, why is he called Donkey if he's in no way related to the Mule?

This looks like a lot of fun! If I grab a GameCube, I certainly want this. I like the songlist, too...

According to I Love The 80's, someone said "monkey", and another person heard "donkey". But I wouldn't take that as truth.

As of now it's only in Japan. They have not announced either way if it's coming to the US or not.
