Hmm, it does only measure pitch, so maybe you could have the mic actually rest against your throat or an available boney part of your head. It's worth a shot, I guess. It would be like those freaky suckers that had a little sound player/stick holder, and you would bite down on the sucker, press a button, and hear the sound as it resonates through your head.

Well me if i got the game.....
Everyone in my neighborhood would be saying "what is that racket!!!"
well im not a big fan of some of the songs
Only if they had Linkin Park, some rap, and a few pop.......
Id also like to have japanese songs cause i pretend to sing japanese cause evrytime i hear a ddr song in japanese.... I sing it
Also how do they have a easy medium hard on the game.
Also my uncle had a mic that records youre score and my sister sang and got a 94 but then i sang the same song and just kept saying blah and i beat her score 98 he he he...... _________________

oh, I've been toying with that. It says to sing in your normal voice and have it be in the green...and if we do that you have to sing pretty damn loud into the mic for it to register clearly. Or maybe I'm not getting it? _________________

Sing in your normal voice but you might have to hum/sing some parts differently (since not everyone can sing high or really low).
And also... Be sure to try KR on another PS2 because it might be your PS2's USB port (lint from all the non-use). _________________

You all should check out http://www.karaokerevolution.net and http://forums.karaokerevolution.net
Anyways that holding microphone isn't capatible with teh US version of Karaoke Revolution.. A one you hold will be coming out soon though.
harmonix made the US release of Karaoke Revolution while some no njame Japan developer made the Japanese one... Obviously the Harmonix one is better, and the Japan one is uh..useless to any Ameircan..
Trust me, i'm Karaoke Revolutions biggest fan. _________________

Well I try to wear the headset and the mic doesn't reach far enough to my mouth hence why I have to take it off the headset and hold it in front of me.
Yes, I hold it the correct direction as well. _________________

The mic doesn't have to reach your mouth in order for it to work properly. Mine reaches the side of my mouth, and it picks up my voice fine. _________________

Fellas and Fellettes,
The real artists wanted too much $$ to license the songs, so every song is covered by someone. That way the game can actually be affordable.
On a side note, anyone know when Expansions are going to start to be available.

KR is a great, fun, and addicting game... unfortunately, I can't really play it right now, even though I bought it... (long story)
I'm looking forward to the day that I can sing a song perfectly on Expert... or at least pass it.
FYI, if you want to request a song, go to:
http://www.konami.com/karaokerevolution/official/flash/index.html
You can request any song, as long as you know the artist and song title. |
