If you're tired of clicking your mouse, I have written a quick and dirty program to vote for your favorite game multiple times. Just enter the game to vote for (f for DDR), and click "Vote!". Feel free to launch multiple instances of this program. I wrote it in a hurry, so don't expect anything fancy. If the first version doesn't work for you, this bigger version should work. Go DDR!
UPDATE: The poll was closed, and it looks like it's open again. However, the old voting program does not work. Please download a new version and turn it on. Thanks! _________________

Ok, I changed the link in the headline to a newer file. This should hopefully solve your problems. _________________

Oooohhh....
My pc is going to be running this all day...
for about a minute of time, it already voted 300 times...
300 votes X 60min X 5 hrs + (300 votes X 40 min) = #of votes by 12:00 for me...
102000 votes...
in 5 hrs, 40 min....
dirty, dirty program... |

OMG....
If this is really working...
I'm getting about 100+ votes every 5 seconds....
I think DDR is going to win if 20 people leave about 80 copies of this running about 4 hours.
It's like one of those save the rainforest commercials. In the time it took to make this post, I will have voted 5,000 times... Go JDogg! Two thumbs!
Edit: Now been about a half an hour... only running one application... and I've voted for the entire population of Hagerstown. about 35,000 times. Everyone download this thing, cause if it works, there's gonna be more votes for DDR than people on this planet! |

I don't know how sophisticated EGM's poll script is, but most would at least track IPs. So the same machine voting 1000 times would still only count as one vote. Heck, even with 3 machines, if they are behind NAT, then they'd still only have one IP... _________________

No.
MTV doesn't mind multiple voters. They want money, they want viewers, they want to make aq show for the most dedicated fans of a game. J Doggs script shows how many of us would watch the show. _________________

I wish they had an option to 'veiw results.' Turns out only 100 people showed up to vote and then DDR has 12 million votes. Hopefully some people aren't running a similar application for anything other than option 'f' _________________

T3 connection (i can download at 3mb/sec)
i get about 200 votes per second off of all 3 programs im running at once.
*(however much time until MTV webmasters realize that thier comps cant deal with numbers that large) = a lot of votes _________________

I'm sure some people are. THe other thread already said Halo fans were doing something similar. But that definitely doesn't mean we should stop. Even if DDR makes top 3 or so, it'll probably come as a surprise to most people. _________________
