I'm considering getting a laptop/notebook pretty soon, but I've had experiences with computers that wouldn't run Stepmania very well, if at all. I was wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions as to what laptop computer(s) can run Stepmania CVS well, and Windows is a must. I appreciate any help offered.

| Well, make sure your laptop has a video card rather than using intergrated graphics, use a good end processor, a decent ammount of ram, and just mess with your settings in stepmania |

My laptop runs Stepmania quite nicely. Its fun taking it into the TV lounge with the big screen HDTV and playing on it.
Quick Stats-
Athalon 2200
512 RAM (448 usable)
ATI Radeon mobility graphics- this card uses system RAM, which you can allocate how much it uses. I have it set to the max of 64mb
30gb (though I'd recommend more)
S-Video out
So pretty much I'd gaurentee that a laptop with these or higher stats would suit you just fine. |
