How do I make the the background animation to work?

How do I make the background animation/Visualizations/random movies or whatever to work. When I play the selection, it makes the background black. Ohh and I used the animation from http://magmariox.hopto.org/ddr.html

Yeah I"m having problems w/ those back ground animations as well. Plus if anyone can help I downloaded the DDR extreme theme from www.Savageddr.com and when I switch themes I still get the default theme but w/ green letters. help

You shouldn't have to make them work. Usually it's best to place the movies/animations in the same folder of the song you want to work with. And if you did that then maybe it's just something wrong with the movies you you might not have an updated build of SM.

I really don't have a clue but I'm sure I hit somewhere near the mark.

I tried that but it's still black. And were can you get animation that works.
