|
|
Due to some catastrophic system failure this morning, the board database had to be rolled back to the latest backup timestamped 3:00am today, Pacific time. Means, all changes after that timestamp (such as recent posts, new signups, your profile updates and anything else to be `remembered' by the board) had to be discarded.
We apologize for inconveniences this may have caused. _________________

What about the Ultramix request thread? I can see why it's empty, but why is it locked too? _________________

The Ultramix Request headline is locked - and I locked it as soon as I posted it - because there's absolutely no reason for people to discuss it. People will just post their requests into the headline and thus completely miss the point.
The Ultramix Request Thread is still open. _________________

Since nobody else has said it:

This is hilarious. The database underwent a complete meltdown, and upon restoring, the system is now running at full speed, which it hasn't done for months. Apparently you guys were running a corrupt DB for quite some time.
PostgreSQL: "JIHAD! JIHAD!"
Server: "You idiot, you're supposed to pull that pin after the meeting."
PostgreSQL: "Oops."
BOOM.
And all was cleansed.

Haha, really? I haven't been browsing during peak hours the past few days, so I haven't noticed.
Oh well, whatever works! _________________

Nah, DDRFreak runs off of PSQL last I checked. They switched from mySQL quite a long time ago because of stability issues. Unless they switched back without telling me...

It runs off postgresql. The rest of the site (machine locations, song lists, etc.) runs off mysql. _________________

That would explain why the machine locations don't go down when the forum does.
