Is there an extreme skin for Stepmania?

Anyone know where I might be able to find one? I checked the main page for SM...maybe I'm just dumb and missed it

If you running a CVS build, you can't use the skins. Just to let you know.

why does everyone say you can't use themes/skins with sm cvs/alpha...

there used to be one in bemani style, but it crashed... so it's not there anymore

spig is making one also... i can't find the link right now

BTW. if 3.0 final skins don't work for you-
1. open smpackage
2. theme tools
3. select one
4. click convert 3.0 to 4.0 theme

This seems to be the best (judging from screenshots) and the one that most closely resembles the arcade's.

It's not done yet, and there are rumors that it will be released when StepMania 4.0 final comes out.

Check the DDRManiaX BB (for StepMania) for future updates for skins, characters, and just about anything else you might need.

This question has come up a thousand time...the only skin that I have gotten to work with SM 3.9 Alpha 3 is the official MAX2 theme that is at www.stepmania.com. The only current existing EXTREME skin is a temporary one which is linked to from the Simulator FAQ. There will certainly be a slew of EXTREME skins released as soon as 4.0 comes out...DDR Eternal is planning one, Spig is making one, and I find it hard to believe there will not be an official one from Stepmania. Anyway, right now, you either have to live with the default or MAX2 theme or go back to Stepmania 3.0.
