alrighty when i oplay step mania the arrows dont seem to move at one speed they kinda stop sometimes when theres a lot of them
i think its called LAG or LOG
can anyone help me get rid of it
i have windows if it matters

its Lag. anyways you are probably running too many things in teh background u can close some stuff down in the bottom right corner. that should help.

naw, its a new computer
only things downloaded on it are stepmania,. kazaaa, and like some other garbage

But I'm gathering that your computer is lagging your Stepmania. In other words, you can access Stepmania, but when you begin playing a song, arrows are skipping everywhere which makes them nearly impossible to hit?

Yeah, that's because of your video card, not because of the other programs you have on your computer. I had the same problem with old hunk o' junk.

So. . .buy a better video card.

i had the same problem because i was running stuff in the background, so i closed them and it was fine.

KaZaA + Stepmania = two great resource hogs competing for scarce supplies. Having both open will most certainly lag your computer down.

Rule of thumb: don't run ANYTHING when you play StepMania until you make sure it works and it isn't your hardware.

1 thing.. 2 thing to say :

if there is nothing "in the corner" of the task bar not mean that there is no other prog running. check the tasklist (DONT ASK HOW)

did you upgrade your video card driver, if no................**no comment** (and dont ask how too !)

this was my opinion about.....herm....people who use computer without knowing how........herm....you know
