Can a Korean 1st mix machine be upgrated to Extreme?

..Wondering if I bought a 1st mix korean machine, if I could upgrate it to a japanese 8th mix.

I'm pretty sure the only DDR mix that had a Korean version was 3rd.

Well it's not possible, cuz there is no such thing as a 1st mix korean versoin.

I think he meant 3rd Mix Korean edition 1.

if that is the case it is defenitly possible, the arcade I play at started with a 3rd mix korean v2, and upgraded to max2, then upgraded to extreme. So if it is a 3rdmix, no worries.

It says "Korean Version" in the info on coinopexpress, under the 1st mix picture.

I think this Korean version of DDR 1st mix isn't any different from the original Japanese version. It's just licensed for release in Korea.

Hehe, I find it funny that I'm the first one to post this. You can't upgrade to an Extreme from any machine before 3rd. 3rd mixes are upgradable to Extreme. However if you want to upgrade a 1st or 2nd mix i think you have to replace the chip or something. Look around at channelbeat.com or coinopexpress.com. Most likely you'll find more in the former.
