I've been playing for about 2 years or so, and I worked my way up as far as difficulty on Single play. I had to pass many Light songs before going into Standard and the same with Standard moving to Heavy. Don't remember how long it took, but I'm a late bloomer and just starting to get good. With Doubles it took me a day or two once I learned how to cross-over and pass most Standard songs so now I'm learning Doubles Heavy. |

Going from the first time I played DDR, a little over 2 years. However, there was a bit of a down time after I played it for the first time, so I'd say I've been playing for around a year and a half, or so. If I played more often, I could definitely be better than I am. I'm more concerned with getting a mix of difficulty of fun. I'm not a huge fan of playing uber-stamina draining death songs (read, most of the 10s), but I don't like playing extremely easy songs, either. I stay around the 8-9 foot level, playing a few 7s every now and then. My PA is adequate, I can, at the very least, AA a lot of songs on Single. I don't know, I don't really keep track. It is more than half, at least. I play Double most of the time now, because I find it more fun. I can do all the 9-footers, a few 10-footers, but, once again, gravitate towards the somewhat easier stuff. Also, my PA is much, much worse in Double mode. |
