speed mods, do no effect the gameplay and or the arrows that are supposed to be stepped on, therefor i say yes to them. on another point, i think that tournaments are supposed to be people playing at thier best, so if someone is doing their best on 1.5x they should use it... if there are tournaments with a no mod policy, you cant really get a feel of how a person can play, not unless they have allready been playing with no mods... _________________

The way I see it, I play to win. I do what it takes to win.
Scrubs are the ones that demand that the playing field be "even" by disallowing the usage of modifiers in tournaments.
Although it may not sound moral and "fair", guess what, the world isn't fair. You take advantage of what is given to you and use those tools to make the best of your score.
You use all tools avaliable to increase your chances of getting a higher score. If that means you play a song on 3x Flat Mirror Reverse, so be it.
And if this has already been said, whatever. I don't feel like going through the previous 5 pages. _________________

Mirror changes the steps, and thats not fair unless both players change. Also, flat and reverse is highly questionable. Right now we're talking simply speed mods, but if I were running a tournament and somebody seriously requested to play on reverse, I'd probably let them. |
