I tried using both a joystick and a pad with a playstation 2 to USB converter with stepmania, but it just seems to crash every time. I tried using a program that makes the joystick act as arrow keys, but it proved to no avail, stepmania didn't recognize the keys.
Does anyone know how to get the ps2 converter or joystick to work?

1. witch converter ?
2. did you configure the key in stepmania ?
3. did you test your converter setting in windows controller setting ?

Make sure you're using a current snapshot, not 3.0, which had some controller bugs.

As I said, when i tried to, StepMania just crashed.

There is no "converter" setting in the windows controller setting.
