There are dozens of people asking for help, hundreds of messages, and there are only a few people active on the SM dev team--fewer who know the engine, and fewer still who have time for the forums. Generally, the net total is one person. Have a little patience.
So, heed the Dipstick: Uninstall 3.0, install a current snapshot (his link is still current), play a game (to make sure you're still seeing the problem) and you should find an info.txt file in the SM directory. Also, make sure you're looking in the right place--CVS snapshots install to "\Program Files\StepMania CVS" by default, not "StepMania". Post it in full.
(Not that that means I can help you--it just means I'll have some idea of what you're running, so I *might* be able to help you. Without that, I really can't do anything at all.)
Spork: I don't know of any memory leaks in SM as such, but it'll use more memory by default. How much memory do you have? You can try turning off "keep textures in memory" in the graphic options menu to reduce memory usage. |

Correction - Yo soy el gringo muy stupido. I actually don't have the CVS thing yet. I thought I did. I'm downloading it right now tho (damn 3kb a sec, when am i gettin dsl). So i'm sorry everyone. Thx for your help Phrekwenci , ZOOT, technick and others.

 OMG! Stepmania actually works now! And not only does it work! But it totally destroys DWI in any aspect. OMG, I'm so happy I could cry, thank you all for your time and help. I'm gonna go cry and then play SM. Later!
