help me with .crs files please

I CANNOT for the life of me figure out how to create a .CRS file to make ONI courses. It is really frustrating
please help me, and help would be mush appreciated

i think you just open a note pad, then you follow the readme that comes with dwi, then just save it as whateverthenameis.crs

well.. basically..

this is my coding for demon road 2.

#COURSE:Kidou 2;
#REPEAT:NO;
#SONG:7th\Drop Out (Remix):MANIAC;
#SONG:7th\Sexy Planet (Pocky Warrior Remix):MANIAC;
#SONG:7th\Breakdown:MANIAC;
#SONG:7th\Tsugaru - oni:MANIAC;
#SONG:7th\Burning Heat! (3 Option Mix):MANIAC;
#SONG:7th\Kakumei:MANIAC;
#COMBO:PERFECT;
#COMBOMODE:2;
#LIVES:4;

let's go through it..
course name, obvious.
repeat, obvious.
#SONG all in caps:song folder name\EXACT name of the dwi file (NOT folder!):LEVEL (in caps);
then repeat.

note that everything but the folder and song names must be capitalized.
combo:perfect only adds perfects to your combo.
lives: 4 is like the actual battery bar you get in the arcade. i think you can have up to ten.

for the banner image, name it coursename.png. and put it in the course folder.

what would you put for the difficulty if it's challenge mode steps (like paranoia surivor max for legend oni)

Just wondering in stepmani how do you creat a course where it picks random songs and it keeps going untill you get worn out. I transfere the course from dance with intensity that has repeat yes etc etc but it doest work in stepmania. Please help. I like playing continuosly untill i get worn out thanks.

There used to be endless mode, but i dont trhink it works the same wat on stepmania CVS..

ok, i figured out how to use the challenge steps, but now i can't use the standard/trick/another steps for the oni >_< help?

the #REPEAT:; tag should work with stepmania. did you check under endless mode?

for standard steps in an oni course just change the song difficulty to ANOTHER in the crs file, i think TRICK and STANDARD also work but i'm not sure.

example:
