Already everyone. I'm looking to make a program that will auto-rename/auto-re-tag ID3 (MP3 tag files) data.
I intend on releasing a Bemani version of this program as well.
That is, check the song name against a database of songs and rename accordingly.

Why am I doing this?
I want to start with a master DDR song database (like Aaron in Japan is making). It will eventually expand into a bemani database. What I need it a group effort, I'm not manually entering 500+ songs into a database nor will I write a spider to crawl all of DDR Freak's songlist pages and (horribly) put everything into a database,

So what do I need? I need EXPERIENCED board members who may be able to come up with something, or assist me in creating a master import script that will put everything into a CSV file for use in importing to almost any type of database. I want this to be easily transferable to any medium.

And if you don't know what CSVs are, then I guess you're just out of luck aren't you? E1.gif.

Any takers?
