hi.... i need help on configuring the options in a max2 machine...........
i work in an amusement center and also a kids party......... and the place that i work for has addr machine (7th). sadly, no one in my job knows how to operate the machine so whenever there is a party for the little kids.......the workers will just give away free tokens for the arcades... and when token supply runs out, sucks for the customers............
i really hate the way they do this.....
i personally havent seen he insides of a ddr machine yet.... because i'm just new at my job and no one listens to my ideas....plus they dont really give a damn about the dance machine....(ugh! how ungreatful!)
well....... i've been looking for a complete manual on how to do unlimited credits in the machine but i havent found any........
i really need help from someone who knows alot about ddrmachines....
i would gladly appreciate it if someone mde a detailed guide/walkthrough
the options configurtions buttons in the machine..........
thanks alotin advance for those who tries to help me......... |

If you enter test mode, you can get to a "secret menu" by going to "Game Options", pressing the down arrow on the 1P side, holding the service button and hitting 1P start. I believe that this menu will allow you to set the game to event mode...I'm not 100% sure though.
If all else fails, you can just use the service button to pump a whole bunch of credits into the machine. _________________

Event mode is all well and good, but it's much easier just to enter the "Coin Options" menu and turn Free Play on.
Most modern arcade machines will have a Coin Options (or similarly-named) menu where you can set the cost of the game. And likewise, most modern machines will have a Free Play option located there. When I say "modern" I mean early-to-mid 90s and onwards, although it can vary by brand of machine.
Anyway, inside of most DDR machines there are 2 or 3 buttons behind the coin door. One button will get you into Test mode (for setting options, testing sensors, resetting high scores, inputting unlock codes, etc.), one button will add a credit (Service button), and the third button (if it exists) will degauss the screen. You may also find a volume dial in there. Once you're in Test mode you can follow the onscreen instructions. Have no fear; they're all in english.
