Rancid: How can you say KCET is the toughest out of that pack? That's the easiest Paranoia EVAR!!! It should probably be like a 7 maybe, or an easy 8. Dirty Mix is the one that always screwed me up on the original para bros. course. Sometimes I would pass that song and sometimes i would fail, but if I passed the song I would finish the rest of the course pretty easily.

In no way is Daikenkai oni harder than max300 or paranoia survivor. I can C, sometimes B daikenkai and then have to give the rest of the songs to a friend so i can rest. Daikenkai oni, i can almost AA.
Tries on Max300 before passing: about 25
Daikenkai oni: first try
Paranoia Survivor: 6 times
Daikenkai oni should be a 9 though, its a stamina killer. Paranoia evolution shouldn't be a 9, just a hard 8.
To rest the debate, Paranoia KCET used to be an 8 on USA mix and on DDR home version(the very first american game). Somehow it grew to a 9 rating... |
Ummmm.....you did notice that i said Daikenkai oni DOUBLES is harder than those other songs on Doubles. Definately not on singles, but on doubles, hell yeah it is. On singles I said daikenkai oni maybe deserves a 9 rating. On doubles it already has a 9 rating and probably deserves a 10, since it is harder than some other so called 10's on doubles.(max300, genom screams and para survivor)
and whats that you say you can barely C sometimes B daikenkai on heavy singles, yet you can almost AA daikenkai oni singles? That's pretty weird, since I think the oni steps are harder than the heavy steps. My best on the heavy steps is I think 18 greats and my best on the oni steps is 29 greats. Both FC/AA's.

There was a day where I did all of the paranoias out of the oni, just to see the grades.
Paranoia 180 - D
Paranoia Dirty - C
Paranoia Clean - C
Paranoia Evolution - B
Paranoia Rebirth - A

Because its a 9 foot song. IMO that's exactly where it needs to be. Harder than 8 footers, but not hard enough to be considered a 10.

I disagree.
MaxX Unlimited should be a 9 on standard. I can FC LoM standard(a 9-foot standard song) with no problem, but I can't even pass MaxX Unlimited on standard(an 8 foot standard song).
On topic: I played Paranoia Evolution today and it should be an 8. |

I also agree that if LOM standard can be a 9 that Maxx Unlimited standard should be a 9 also. When I played Maxx Unlimited on standard for my first time I totally messed up and got a A on it with a couple of random misses. LOM on standard I AA'ed my first time playing it with a full combo.

Hmmm, don't know about that, only problem with that song is the ending jumping part, and really isnt too difficult if you're fast enough. But still, I can think of a number of 8 footers that are harder then maxx standard. I actually think max 300 standard is harder then maxx because of the few 8th note runs it has (still too slow to do 8th runs on a 300+ bpm song =/) |
