does 5.1.1. really have no room for anything below Greats?
3 Goods
0 Boo
0 Miss
---------
C Grade. (5.1.1 Std.)
I try again...
2 Goods
0 Boo
0 Miss
---------
A Grade. (Std.)
I suppose 5.1.1. has so few steps, even on Heavy (like barely over 100 Hvy) that you can't really get an A without a stellar performance.
AA Light (1 Great aagh!)
A Std (31 Greats, 2 Goods)
AA Heavy (13 Greats, 1 Good)
I guess you really have to watch out on 5.1.1. no matter how hard it is.
And I came 1 good from FCing Stomp to my Beat Light. _________________

5.1.1 only has 101 steps. So AA'ing it, you'll need a very small amount of greats. And as far as I know, you aren't allowed to miss anything. _________________

101 Steps... yet it's a 7 footer?
And Abyss Light has nearly 200 steps and is a 2 footer?
How do they justify it? _________________

The gallops aren't that bad... it's just the speed. _________________

An AA on 5.1.1 is a full combo with 14 greats i think. So that means you can get a miss.
This song still blows though. |

Whether it is 101 or 103 steps you can still AA with 1 miss and 1 good (assuming the Max2 dancepoint method is used). |

To AA a song with no freezes, you need 86% "equivalent PA." (Comes from greats being worth half as much as perfects.)
One miss is worth 10 greats when counting "equivalent PA."
100 perfects and 1 miss = 10 greats. 10/101 is about 10%, so you'd have 90% "equivalent PA.
So you could get one miss and four greats and still AA the song. Two misses, or even a miss and a boo, and there's no chance of a AA.
Your "13 greats and 1 good" shouldn't have been a AA (85.15%), but maybe there's some rounding issue I don't know about. _________________

Yep. Or maybe I just accidentally put 13 greats instead of 12. My fault. So it would've barely fit in. _________________
