Police brutality the fun part of the job.

On a more serious note, go for it. The worst thing she could say is no thanks and then you have a couple good pads for you to play on. Kind of like all the dvd's I bought for my ex girlfriend and she threw them at me the day we broke up. I now have a nice library of anime.

Plus when you are over at her house you can both play on good pads. Ofcourse sliping and failling on your butt is kind of funny too when using a cheap pad.
