Could someone please explain to me how to unlock max songs using my max2. I heard there was some sort of link function. Thanks for any help

This really should have been posted in DDR At Home.

Go into Options and pick the Memory Card menu. Choose "Support (DDRMAX)" and pick Yes for everything (the option on the left). You're done. Note that this will only unlock the Japanese DDRMAX, since you're using the Japanese MAX2.
