Good idea bad idea? i need opinions

OK my gf's birthday is comming up so i decided that as a present i would get her 2 ddr pads (obviously for home play and yes she likes the game) a dual ps to usb adapter and i would try to get every song i could for stepmania and put it on her comp. Is this an ok present also im nervous about tampering with her comp i dont want to screw it up and comments on that thanx

nah, seriously though. it sounds pretty good to me. i doubt u can mess her computer up using stepmania.

Yeah that's a pretty kool gift I guess, just make sure her comp is capable of running SM descently, you dont wanna give it to her and get her all excited only to find out the thing runs at like 10FPS

I think she may be disappointed by the space on her computer taken up, but it is DDR and she likes it, so I'm undecided about this.

Make sure she doesn't have moral issues with copyrighted songs. The pads are agood present, but pirating songs isn't.

Someone once tried to give me pirated software for my birthday and I took it as one of the greatest insults ever. It said to me: "I'm too cheap to buy you a real gift, so I stole one for you instead."

You could get around this issue by buying a home game or a sound track and only downloading the songs on those purchased items.

I got my girlfriend 2 pads and a konamix two christmas's ago. Ever since then she's been obsessed with DDR, and even works at a better arcade than I do.

Moral of the story? No moral, I'm just jealous that she works at a better arcade.

Sounds like a good idea, just make sure they aren't the CHEAPEST pads in the world, you want to make her happy don't you.

Make sure she is REALLY into the game and thats what she wants, make sure it is NOT the brittneys dance pad, worst pads I have ever played on.

ill probably get her some pads from gamedepot.com thats where i got mine and they have never failed me. As for the horse porn thing... THANX FOR THE PARANOIA AND I DONT MEAN THE SONG...lol j/k i doubt that would happen but who knows right. Also i already confirmed that she does like DDR but no she wont beat me right now she is playing songs like stomp to my beat while im getting 100 combo's on max 300(not bad for 2 months playin) so she'll need some practice. As for the cobalt flux thing hmmmmmm... i think ill give her my soft pads and get those for me. Hey u need your priorities straight its just like my new commercial says

"Girlfriends come and go.....but a cobalt flux is forever" lol
