The codes before were NOT leaked. They were faxed out by Konami of Japan themselves.
My guess is that the NEW code unlocks everything from 1-30, while the old code only append the older codes, unlocking only 27-30. I'm going to try initializing the append codes and tinker with it.
According to another friend here who tried it, and even tried to see if the mods were "hidden" and other various tricks, the code doesn't unlock such a thing, as Gyleno said. Just 1-30. _________________

Hmm, from what's reported, I can only conclude that the code we had before was for unlock #28-30, just with the side effect of unlocking everything prior to it. This code on the other hand is the true "unlock all" code... even though I don't think there's a useful difference between the two...Konami just felt like being perfectionist? |

Nothing different than the code I found, apparently. At least that's whats been reported from everywhere that I know of. _________________

That's really...REALLY strange...
Maybe there's something random unlocked that you haven't noticed? (It's quite possible that out of all the songs that did something crazy like allow you to play Oni steps on 5.11 or something...God knows that song needs more steps anyways...) _________________

I thought we saw those oni steps working just great on the test location of Extreme? I bet you that same guy who botched the foot ratings on MAX2 made another catastrophic typo and marked DD as 1/4/6/8/- instead of 1/4/6/8/8 or whatever it might have been.
So I guess this new code just removes the "NEWLY UNLOCKED!" blinking from the unlock screen? Thats nice. Well, if it saves someone the trouble of entering each code in sequence then I guess its worth it. |

umm yeah, the codes are the same because the place that i play only had unlock code number four in and when we put in the final one, it unlocked everything. No difference except for the codes themselves. _________________

I put in the official Konami code today (XDWKQJQ-QMMAYA_)...all it seemed to do was make the red songs (Trip Machine Survivor, Dance Dance Revolution, Paranoia Survivor, Legend of Max, Paranoia Survivor Max), available on any stage, but I did not see Dynamite Rave Down Bird SOTA Mix, Look to the Sky True Color Mix, and the From Home Version Nonstop available. _________________

has it unlocked the new mods? (wave, reverse boost, 0.25 etc)
I've been wondering if they will get unlocked, and as this doesn't seem to do anything else it may do. _________________
