I have been playing for about a week now. Tried Normal but found it a little easy and so I have gone up to Hard and am currently playing Starian, Beethovens Virus and any other random level 4, 5, or 6 song.
At the moment I am enjoying it a little more than DDR but only because it is still new to me.

I like Pump too. I am still playing Hard Mode, with only some songs left on PREX.
Favorite songs are Loner, Starian, Tell Me Tell Me, We Are, Beethoven Virus (not Beethoven's), Turkey March, (Techno) Extravaganza, Come Back to Me, Com' Back, Take on Me, Final Audition Series, Another Truth, Hatred, Slam, Black Cat, and An Interesting View.
Hardest song I passed is Final Audition Episode 1 on Hard.

i like pump it up, i just started playing, my favorite song is The Waves by UN (United N-Generation). i'm still on easy but i tried hard mode, the machine we have is The Premiere 2, does anybody know any links where i can find the music to the game, i've looked everywhere, but i am not fluent in korean, plz somebody help

Number of Beatmania topics > number of PIU topics.
Who cares.
So yeah, I used to play PIU and it's harder then DDR will ever be. Now that I think about it I don't even know why I stopped playing it.

I love it, but I discovered DDR and PIU at the same time, so naturaly I totally sucked at PIU.
Anyone know of any PIU locations near me?

I can give you two reasons why I moved on to DDR after playing PIU:
1. I liked DDRs music better (Started with 5th Mix, and heard songs like Matsuri Japan, Electro Tuned, Leading Cyber, nuff said)
2. EVERYONE ELSE was playing DDR and PIU lost it's popularity instantly in the arcade I play in, so I just went ahead and followed the crowd to see what was so good about it, and ended up liking the music selection better.
I must say, when I wanta challenge, PIU is definietly where it's at. I love playing Crazy mode, and almost every song on that mode is like Max300 on heavy mode. O_O

I agree that DDR has the advantage when it comes to good music. PIU is ok, but just not as fun for the money.

It is more fun for the money only if you can AAA every single song on ddr on heavy, or there aren't any ddr machines close enough to you. Otherwise, I'd stick with ddr.

You know what's funny?
I read this as a OFFICIAL PUMP IT UP THREAD.
PUMP IT UP.
So why do I keep seeing DDR typed more times that Pump has been mentioned?
THIS IS NOTHING TO DO WITH DDR.
And for the record, Pump has a GREAT NUMBER of awesome songs. Ill take a stab by saying this, but just because a song is not in english certainly doesnt make it suck.
